NSI N.V. is a Dutch stock-exchange listed property company focused on Dutch offices. The company’s objective is to use its strong and efficient platform to achieve the best possible return for its shareholders through pro-active asset management, value-add initiatives and active capital recycling. Its efforts are underpinned by a strong balance sheet.

Management Board

The primary responsibility of the Management Board is to develop a vision for long-term value creation, to formulate an appropriate strategy and to achieve the targets ensuing from this vision.

In doing so, the Board of Management is supervised by the Supervisory Board and reports annually to the General Meeting of Shareholders.

Supervisory Board (SB)

The primary task of the SB is to supervise the execution of the Management Board’s strategy aimed at long-term value creation, as well as the general course of business of the company and its affiliates. The SB acts as an adviser to the Management Board.

History

NSI: An exited journey for over 25 years 

We are proud on the 25 years of NSI existence in 2017. We are looking at the next 25 year to come with boosted energy levels.  

1992

The company is established.

1993

The company is named Nieuwe Steen Investments N.V.

1998

NSI is listed on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.

2000

NSI is classified as a Dutch REIT (fiscale beleggingsinstelling or FBI).

2007

Founder Zeeman sells its stake in NSI to Habas. The strategy changes and NSI ventures out of The Netherlands.

2008

NSI acquires real estate in Switzerland.

2011

NSI expands its portfolio through the acquisition of Vastned Offices/Industrial N.V. The name Nieuwe Steen Investments changes into NSI N.V. After the merger, Switzerland is no longer a core market and NSI is focused solely on the Belgian and Dutch markets.

2012

NSI launches HNK: Het Nieuwe Kantoor, which caters to the growing demand for flexible full-service concepts in the office market.

2013

NSI attracts EUR 300 million of new capital. The final remaining Swiss assets are sold.

2016

NSI sells its remaining stake in Intervest Offices & Warehouses in Belgium. A large part of the portfolio of commercial buildings is also sold.

2017

Strategic refocus. NSI becomes a specialist in the Dutch office market and HNK.
